Welcome Jeremy Rhodes!
On Sunday, August 8, our congregation voted to call Rev. Jeremy Rhodes to join our church staff as Minister to Students. Jeremy and his wife, Jessica, live near Atlanta, Georgia where he has been serving as a member of the youth ministry staff at First Baptist Church, Snellville. Prior to his service at FBC, Snellville, Jeremy was Youth and Children's Pastor at Pine Lake Baptist Church, Stone Mountain.Jeremy is a graduate of Brewton-Parker College and has done additional study at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. As Minister to Students, Jeremy's primary assignment is to provide leadership in ministry to students (middle school through college) that seeks to reach individuals and families for Christ and the Church, and aid members to develop in Christian maturity.
September 19 will be Jeremy's first Sunday at East Hill.Please continue to be in prayer for him as he begins his new responsibilities with us. Pray also for Jeremy and Jessica, as they work out final details for relocating to Tallahassee.

East Hill State Missions Offering Goal $1500
September is the month for our State Missions Emphasis. East Hill's State Missions Offering supports the Florida Baptist Convention and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Florida. Please pray for Baptist missions and missionaries in Florida where 77 per cent of the population do not claim Jesus as their Savior. Give generously so that more and more people in our state may come to know Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him.
